What’s That LiLiPoofz All About

Where did we come up with the name LiLiPoofz?  What’s that all about?  Well…it’s my baby’s nickname.  She is the very reason I began sewing in the first place.  Yep, that’s right, I am a novice seamstress.

My husband and I decided that we wanted to cloth diaper.  After doing a massive amount of research I came to the conclusion that there was no one perfect diaper. Unlike most things, cloth diaper opinions are vast. So vast, in fact, that we couldn’t gauge which was the right choice for us.  Seeing that cloth diapers are a big upfront investment, we didn’t want to take any chances at choosing the wrong choice. So I purchased a Big Box Special (cheapie Sewing Machine) and took to Youtube. I learned how to sew prefolds and covers at 9 months pregnant.

A Business is Born

I began receiving requests for the cloth diapers and a business was born.

Since those beginning DiapaDipes days, I have made so many things.  My daughter has a massive play mat unlike anything that can be found in stores.  My husband, Gaettagor has requested many unique items for guitars and now has his own line of handmade music gear that will be launching soon on his website.  I’ve made bibs, dog mats, diapers, clothes, plushees, and more…Oh My!!!  We will be combining sewing alongside all of my other crafty endeavors to provide a variety of items for your family.
